MWC 2017: Alcatel A5 LED, A3, U3, and Plus 12 introduced at MWC 2017

Alcatel has today introduced its three new smartphones and a Windows 10 powered 2-in-1 tablet at the ongoing MWC 2017 event. The smartphones lineup include Alcatel A5 LED, Alcatel A3, Alcatel U3 and a 2-in-1 tablet named Alcatel Plus 12. As of now company has not reveled the pricing and availability of these devices.

Alcatel A5 LED:

Alcatel A5 LED can be considered as the one of the most interesting offering from Alcatel. It has a unique LED rear panel which offers different colour formations of LEDs for different contacts and different type of notifications. One can also select pre-installed different themes of LEDs and setup variety of light shows. The back panel LEDs can also be synchronized with your playlist through a pre-loaded app, which will blink on the tune of the music you play.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Alcatel A5 LED features a 5.2-inch HD display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels and comes armed with an octa-core MediaTek MT6753 processor, along paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of storage. The smartphone also comes with an option to expand the storage via microSD card. The smartphone runs on 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2,800mAh battery. On the camera front, the smartphone offers an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies. Besides, the A5 LED smartphone offers 4G/Lte, 4.2, WiFi, and a microUSB port.

Alcatel A3:

Alcatel A3 features a smaller 5-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS display and is powered by a 1.25 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. It comes with 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, with option to expand the storage via microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2,460mAh battery.

The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is placed on its back panel. On the camera front, the smartphone offers 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. Besides, the smartphone comes with all basic connectivity options.

Alcatel U3:

The Alcatel U3 offers a 5-inch FWVGA display with 480×854 pixel resolution and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek 6737M processor, along with 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage. The smartphone also comes with an option to expand the the storage via microUSB port.

Alactel

On the camera front, the smartphone has a 5-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera. Both rear as well as front camera offers a LED flash light. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and is backed up by a 2,050 mAh battery. As per company this smartphone is the most affordable smartphone. Besides, the smartphone comes with all basic connectivity options.

Alcatel Plus 12:

Alcatel Plus 12, Windows 10 based 2-in-1 tablet features a 11.6-inch IPS display 1080p resolution and comes bundled with an LTE keyboard. The tablet is powered by an Intel Celeron N3350 processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. One can also expand the storage of up-to 128GB via microSD card. The tablet also has a fingerprint scanner, a USB type C port, HDMI port and a jack as well. The tablet is backed up by 6900mAh battery and runs on Windows 10 OS and comes with 5MP front facing camera. The tablet measures 284 x 175 x 7.9mm and weighs 990 grams. Besides, the tablet offers 802.11n, Bluetooth 4.2 and an N-Trig-powered pen compatible with Windows Ink.

Alactel
The keypad can be connected through 7 pogo pins and has a 4G slot. The keypad gets its power by a Qualcomm MDM9207 processor, along with 128MB of RAM and has USB-A port as well. The keyboard is backed up by a 2580mAh battery.
