Those who are planning to buy the Honeycomb tablets will have to dissapoint as the latest version of Flash will not come pre-installed in the first batch of device that is to be sold in the market from February 24.

In its latest blog, Adobe said that Flash 10.2 will come pre-installed on some tablets and as an OTA download on others within a few weeks of 3 (Honeycomb) devices becoming available.

Motorola Xoom will be the first device in the market to have Flash 10.2 pre-installed. It is however, would not enthuse the potential buyers as its ability to play Flash has been questioned in the past.

The blog post also talked about 50 Android-based tablet devices coming into the market in 2011.

The quality of the Flash player will also be under scrutiny because even well developed version of Flash for Windows and Mac are called buggy by some of the users.
