Motorola working on Atrix’s successor: Report

Images of a mysterious Motorola handset has surfaced online hinting at Atrix successor with 720p HD resolution supporting display and 1080p HD video recording capable camera with flash.

Motorola is reportedly working on the successor handset of its current flagship device &#151 Atrix. The images of the mysterious Motorola are similar to the 1GHz bearing Atrix smartphone. The mysterious Motorola handset is said to carry 720p display and have a 8 camera, capable of recording 1080p full HD video. From the images, it is difficult to confirm whether the said phone is Droid HD or the successor of Atrix; it could possibly be a prototype.

The images of the purported Motorola smartphone were leaked by IT168, a Chinese website. The device in question has a curved glass display. Obviously, the operating system running on it is the Google which could be either Gingerbread or Ice Cream Sandwich. This phone has a 3.5mm audio port, port and HDMI output port.

The screen size of this device appears to be around 4-inch to 4.3-inch. At the back lies the 8 megapixel camera with dual flash and in the front is a camera. There’s no further information or clue available on this device.

Motorola appears to be working on Atrix successor and Droid HD device simultaneously, the report added. It is quite possible that the said device and the Droid HD could be the same model. We’ll update this space as soon as we discover more details.
