Motorola is expected to announce the long-awaited Google Android Honeycomb tablet at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 in Las Vegas starting today. Motorola’s Xoom tablet is a 10-inch device that will be the first to run Google’s new Honeycomb OS.
According to a report by technology news website Cnet, Motorola Xoom tablet will be one of many new Android-based tablets coming to the international market this year.
In India last year, Samsung introduced its first Android tablet called the Galaxy Tab. Dell too launched Dell Streak tablet here. The first ever tablet introduced by any Indian player was Olive Pad, which was launched early last year.
