Motorola is all set to launch a new smartphone, the Motorola One Power pretty soon. The phone has been subjected to various leaks in the past and for the first time, we are seeing live images of the upcoming device revealing some key information about its design.
To start with, the back panel seems to come with a metal finish and one can clearly see vertically-aligned dual rear cameras at the top-left corner. Further, there is a fingerprint sensor, which now comes with company’s famous Batwing logo. The front houses an iPhone X-like notch, which now has become a new standard in the smartphone industry. There might dual selfie cameras, along with usual Sensors and earpiece on the top.
The right houses volume controls and power on/off button, while the left is equipped with a Dual-SIM slot. The bottom of the phone features USB Type-C port flanked between two speaker grilles. The live images are in line with previous renders that showed similar design language.
Previously, some key specifications of the smartphone were leaked online. The specs sheet reveals that the smartphone will feature a 6.2-inch Full HD+ display with a screen 2280 x 1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19:9. We already know that there will an iPhone X-like notch on the front. The phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Processor along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB.
On the camera front, the leak suggests that the smartphone will feature dual-camera setup with a combination of 12-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 Aperture and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. For the front, there will be an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video This is opposed to the previous report that mentions 16-megapixel primary lens with f/1.8 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture for the rear and a 16-megapixel shooter for the front.
Moving on, the leak suggests that the smartphone will be backed by a 3780mAh battery and it will run on Android 8.1 Oreo. Previous leaks suggest that the smartphone will come with Android One branding, meaning that users will get a faster update and it could be among first smartphones which could be updated to Android P.
