Motorola Mobility along with Flipkart website has announced the Independence Day offer for the Indian consumers. Under this offer, Flipkart is offering 10 percent cash back on the purchase of the Moto G and Moto X for the State Bank of India Debit Card and Credit Card holders. Motorola Moto G is priced at Rs 10,499 for 8 GB and Rs 11,999 for 16 GB while the Moto X is priced at Rs 23,999 for 16 GB model.
Motorola recently revised the pricing of the Moto G after the arrival of the Mi Mi3 smartphone. The Moto G flaunts a 4.5-inch IPS LCD display with 1280×720 pixels resolution. The display has been constructed using the Corning Gorilla Glass 3 technology to make it slimmer, lighter and resistant to normal wear and tear. Moto G is powered by a quad-core 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile Chipset with Adreno 305 GPU graphics.
Motorola has packed 1 GB RAM to make the Android 4.3 Jelly Bean run easily on the phone. Motorola has also released the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the phone recently. Moto G measures 11.6 mm thick and weighs 143 grams. Moto G will be offered in 8 GB or 16 GB storage but does not have a memory card slot. At the rear, Moto G packs 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash along with imaging features such as Geo-tagging, touch focus, face-detection, Panorama and HDR. The camera can record HDR videos and video at 720p (HD) quality. In the front, it has a 1.3 megapixel camera for making video calls.
Motorola has packed WiFi (802.11 b/g/n) in the Moto G for faster mobile web experience. Moto G supports quad-band HSPA network for faster mobile internet and can accommodate a micro-SIM module. Other features of Moto G include Bluetooth 4.0, USB Host, micro USB 2.0 and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. Motorola has packed a 2070 mAh non-removable battery. Initially, Moto G 8 GB was priced at Rs 12,499 and now is available for Rs 10,499.
Motorola Moto X features a 4.7-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with 720p resolution. Motorola powered the Moto X with dual-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Plus mobile processor and 2 GB RAM. Just like Moto G, this handset too doesn’t offer memory card slot. At the rear, Moto X features a 10 megapixel camera and an LED Flash and made it capable to shoot images and full HD videos in HDR. In the front, it has a 2 megapixel camera capable of full HD video chat.
Motorola has packed several sensor in this device – Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity, Temperature, Barometer and E-Compass. There is no Radio chip on this device but one can easily enjoy streaming music or videos using the Dual-Band WiFi network support. Moto X has recently got the Android 4.4 Jelly Bean update. Motorola has packed a 2200 mAh battery in the phone.
Motorola Moto X was introduced for Rs 23,999 and continues to sell at the same price but the offer is valid on it.
