Motorola Moto X Force launching in India soon, offers crack proof screen

Motorola Moto X Force's 5.4 display is said to be shatter proof.

Motorola will soon launch the Moto X Force, which it claims to have a crack proof screen, in India soon. Amit Boni, the country head of Motorola India, reportedly revealed this during a press conference.

The Motorola Moto X Force is armed with a 5.4 inch display that has Quad or 2560×1440 pixels resolution. But the highlight of this phone is the strength of this display. As per Motorola, it has made this display using ShatterShield technology in which it makes the display with rigid aluminum core on top of which lies AMOLED flexible display to absorb shocks.

“Then, a dual touch layer with redundancy was created to help it survive accidents. Often, after a drop, the touch layer can go bad and your touch doesn’t work as well. So we’ve added a failsafe mechanism,” Motorola said in a blog post, adding: “The next layer is the interior lens which provides a clear protective shield that won’t crack or shatter. Lastly, we topped it off with an exterior lens that has a unique hardcoat that helps protect the display against normal wear and tear.”

Motorola infact offering four year warranty for the display.

Like the display, the Moto X Force looks equally tough from inside with the 2 GHz octa core Snapdragon 810 processor, 3 RAM and 2 TB expandable storage capacity. It comes in 32 GB and 64 GB storage options. The phone though comes with the Lollipop version and not the latest Android Marshmallow operating system.

Besides, the Motorola Moto X Force offers a 21 megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection auto focus and dual flash light. For selfies, it has a 5 megapixel front camera. The smartphone offers 4G, NFC, 4.1 LE, WiFi and a 3760 battery.

This 169 grams weighing smartphone is 7.6mm and comes in black colour and has a water repelling coating.
