Motorola Moto Maxx, the costliest handset in Motorola’s stable, is now available in India on pre-order but in a different name – Motorola Moto Turbo, for Rs 41,999. The smartphone will be formally announced tomorrow.
Announced last November, the Motorola Moto Maxx comes with a 5.2 inch OLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen and 1440×2560 pixels resolution (Quad HD). This 8.3 mm thick smartphone has Android Lollipop OS and runs on the 2.7 GHz Snapdragon 805 quad core processor, 3 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage but it has no expandable storage facility. There is a 21 Megapixel camera in the Moto Turbo’s rear panel while in its front lies a 2 megapixel unit.
The splash resistant Moto Turbo has a single SIM and offers 3G connectivity. It also has dual band WiFi, WiFi Direct, DLNA, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Infrared port, micro USB port, and GPS with A-GPS and GLONASS. It has a huge 3900 mAh Li-Po battery.
