After unveiling Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones in India, Motorola has announced another 4th generation Moto G smartphone, which is dubbed as Moto G4 Play. The Moto G4 Play will be available globally later this summer. However, Motorola has not revealed its price as of now.
The Motorola Moto G4 Play features a 5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD display with water repellent nano-coating. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, which is clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, and has an optional expandable memory slot of 128GB capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and is packed with a 2800 mAh battery.
The Moto G4 Play sports an 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash light on its back, and a 5-megapixel selfie camera in the front. The rear camera has Æ’/2.2 aperture, Tap (anywhere) to capture, 4X digital zoom, Burst mode, Auto HDR, Panorama, Drag to focus & exposure, and 1080p HD video (30 fps) recording features. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Accelerometer, Proximity and Ambient Light sensors. The handset measures 144.4 x 72 x 8.95-9.9 mm and weighs around 137 grams.
Yesterday, Motorola had announced Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus smartphones. The Moto G4 Plus was launched in two versions- one with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal at Rs 13,499 and another with 3 GB RAM and 32 GB of ROM at Rs 14,999. However, Moto G4 will be made available from next month when its price will also be announced.
