Motorola, now owned by Lenovo, is expected to launch its two upcoming smartphones, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus on 17th May. The company has reportedly sent out invites to various media organisation for the event on that date. Earlier we have seen various leaks and images about the upcoming flagship phones by Motorola. Now Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus have surfaced on Indian export import website Zauba quite recently.
As per the Zauba listing, Motorola will bring two variants of Moto G4 and both the models are codenamed Athene. One variant i.e Moto G4 will come with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage and another, the Moto G4 Plus will come with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Both the devices will come with laser Autofocus and NFC (Near Field Communication). The Moto G4 will allegedly come with a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the Moto G4 Plus is said to sport a 16-megapixel rear camera. The devices are said to come with a 5-megapixel sensor (1.4um pixel size), quite probably manufactured by OmniVision.
Recently Motorola Moto G4 appeared in a teaser image on twitter by Motorola mentioning about various user problems while handling the phone. Earlier pictures of Moto G4 Plus were leaked by Evan Blass. As per earlier rumors, Moto G4 Plus is to come with 5.5 inch display, 16 GB Internal Memory and a 16 Megapixel rear camera. It may be priced around €280 or about Rs 21,000 approximately and will come in black and white colours.
