Motorola has launched the 4G variant of its Moto G 2nd Generation smartphone in India. Its predecessor, the Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) 3G was launched last September at Rs 12,999 but is now available at Rs 9,999 on Flipkart.
The new Moto G (2nd Gen, 4G) can be pre-ordered from Flipkart from October 15. The phone will be available for pre-order till stocks last. However note that the device has been made available through the Big Billion Day programme of Flipkart. Now since the Big Billion Day offers are available through the Flipkart App only, you have to install the app on your phone if you want to order this.
The new Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G has the same set of features as that of 3G version except that the new device has a bigger battery and offers 4G connectivity too. Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G has battery capacity of 2390 mAh while the older one has 2070 mAh battery.
The dual SIM Motorola Moto G (2nd Gen) 4G has a 5 inch HD display with 294 ppi pixel density and Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is armed with the 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 quad core processor with Adreno 305 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It offers 16 GB built in storage and a 32 GB micro SD card slot as well. Out of the box, the device runs on the latest Android v5 Lollipop operating system.
The smartphone offers an 8 Megapixel rear camera and a 2 megapixel front camera. The rear camera has auto focus, slow motion video mode, burst mode, HDR, LED flash light support and panorama mode as well.
This 4G smartphone has WiFi, WiFi Hotspot, Bluetooth, 3G, FM radio, and GPS with AGPS and GLONASS support as well.
