The upcoming Motorola Atrix 2 smartphone will have a dual-core Processor and 8-megapixel camera with 1080p full HD video recording, according to the BGR.
It is one of the heavily anticipated handset from Motorola especially after Google acquired it. It is claimed to be the same handset that was recently reported to carry codename Edison.
Since last couple of weeks, Motorola MB865 handset has been making rounds on web with few bits of information. With the new leaked images, it is apparently clear that the handset is almost ready for launch. Motorola Atrix 2 MB865 will come with a dual-core 1.2 GHz or 1.5 GHz Texas Instruments OMAP family of processor. The first Atrix handset came with a dual-core 1 GHz Nvidia Tegra 2 processor and was claimed to be the most powerful handset when it was announced.
Reportedly, the Atrix 2 has an 8 Megapixel camera with LED Flash and capable of recording 1080p full HD videos. There will be a front facing camera for video calling and video chat.
This Motorola handset will come with Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread loaded but there are doubts on the Google Talk with Video support out of the box. From the images, it appears that the handset will have 4.5 inch display that supports qHD (960×540) pixel resolution.
No details about its release or pricing were divulged but the handset is expected to be announced formally next month.
