Moto Z3 Play surfaces in benchmarks with Snapdragon 660 SoC

The phone is said to come with Moto Z ‘Power’ Edition with Battery Moto Mod, Style Edition with Style Shell, Gamepad Edition with Gamepad Mod and Moto Z ‘Projection’ Edition that will come loaded with Projector Mod.

Motorola is all set to unveil upcoming Moto Z3 Play at an event on June 6 in Brazil. The smartphone has been subjected to various leaks in the past and now it has been spotted on a GeekBench website. The listing has revealed some of the specifications of the upcoming smartphone which are inline with the earlier rumoured specs.

In the GeekBench listing, the Moto Z3 Play got 1299 points in single-core test and in multi-core test it received 4851 points. As per the listing on Geekbench, the Moto Z3 Play has 4GB and Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 1.61 octa-core processor. Although earlier leaks have suggested that it may feature Snapdragon 636, so it is expected that may be the smartphone might launch with two variants of the or its a typo error on the Geekbench listing. Further, the listing shows that the handset is based on the 8.1.0 Oreo operating system.

Going by previously leaked specs, the Moto Z3 Play will sport a 6-inch with 18:9 aspect ratio and 2160 x 1080 resolution. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 along with 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. On the camera front, there will be two 12-megapixel at the back out of which one could be meant for low-light. For the front, there will be an 8-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling.

Recently Moto Z3 Play with 5G Moto Mod was leaked in pictures. Moto Z3 Play is reported to come in different editions that will feature with different Moto Mods. The phone could come with Moto Z ‘Power’ Edition with Battery Moto Mod, Style Edition with Style Shell, Gamepad Edition with Gamepad Mod and Moto Z ‘Projection’ Edition that will come loaded with Projector Mod.
