Recently, after Moto X Play was spotted running Android Nougat operating system, another Moto smartphone, the Moto Z Play is now spotted with Android Nougat operating system. As per the WiFi Alliance certification, Motorola seems to be testing the latest software and may release the same for the device soon.

The listing was first spotted by a twitter user named Roland Quandt (â€@rquandt).
The tweet reads, “Moto Z Play with Android 7.0 is now Wi-Fi certified: https://certifications.prod.wi-fi.org/pdf/certificate/public/download?cid=WFA66334 … can’t be long!”.
The Moto Z Play was launched in India back in October 2016 for Rs 24,999. The smartphone comes with an aluminum frame and glass back wrapping a 5.5 inch full HD Super AMOLED display. Moto Z Play is packed with a 3510 mAh non-removable battery which promises up to 45 hours of battery life and is said to be Moto’s longest-lasting battery ever. It supports TurboPower charging technology as well through which one get juice for up to 8 hours in just 15 minutes.
Moto Z Play is powered by a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor (Snapdragon 625) coupled with Adreno 506 and 3GB RAM (LPDDR3 RAM). The device features a 16-megapixel primary camera that has laser auto focus, f/2.0 aperture, 1.3 um pixel size, 4x digital zoom, burst mode, auto HDR, 4K video recording ability, slow motion video recording feature, and professional mode. At the front, there is a 5 megapixel camera with f2.2 aperture, 85 degree wide angle lens, flash light, professional mode, beauty mode and auto night mode.
For packing in your data, the device has 32 GB of internal storage which is expandable up to a 2 TB via micro SD card. Running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, the device is only 6.99 mm thick and comes with water repelling coating on its body. For connecitivty, the device come with dual SIM functionality and has Bluetooth 4.0 LE, WiFi (a/b/g/n), NFC, AGPS, USB Type C port, 3.5 mm port etc. Being a device sporting a modular concept, it comes with Moto Mod connectors through which one can attach various Moto Mods. Apart from that, it sports 3 microphones, a fingerprint scanner, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, proximity, and audio monitor.
