Lenovo has today announced that Moto Z and Moto Z Force are now upgradable to Android 7.0 Nougat. The update will take a weeks time to reach all the users. However, carrier specific devices will be the last bunch to receive the update.
Further, Motorola hasn’t introduced Moto Z Force in India yet while the Moto Z is selling at the price of Rs 39,999 on Flipkart. Interestingly, this new update will make Moto Z and Moto Z Force Google Day-Dream ready. As of now, only Pixel devices are Daydream ready but Lenovo claims that it has earned the approval from Google based on its display, sensors, and graphics internals. You still need to buy Google DayDream View VR headset which is not yet available in India.
Earlier this month, LG rolled out the update for LG G5. The update was then released only in South Korea but you should have got the update up till now irrespective of where you are living. Back in October, Moto G4 Plus was also updated to Android 7.0 making it one of the first devices to get the update. LlabTooFer on twitter also confirmed that HTC 10 will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat by end of November or early December.
Interestingly, Samsung also launched the beta version of Android Nougat for Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. On the other hand, OnePlus has confirmed that both OnePlus 3 and OnePlus 3T will be updated to Android 7.0 Nougat sometime in next month with the community build releasing for the same this month.
