Motorola has launched Moto P30 under the new P series in China. The Moto P30 comes in two variants – 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at 2099 Yuan (approx. Rs 21,320) and 2499 Yuan (approx. Rs 25,390) respectively. It comes in White, Black and Aurora Blue colour options and it will go on sale in China starting September 15.
Moto P30 features a 6.2-inch (2246 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 2.5 curved glass display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection on both front and rear. It has an iPhone X-style display notch with 19:9 aspect ratio. 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 Processor powers it with Adreno 509 GPU.
The smartphone has 6GB RAM with 64GB / 128GB internal storage and expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD. It is backed up by 3000mAh battery with Fast charging with support for 18W fast charging and it runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ZUI 4.0. The Moto P30 also features a Fingerprint sensor at the back, marked with the Moto logo.
For the camera department, the Moto P30 is equipped with a 16-megapixel rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, f/1.8 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size and 5-megapixel secondary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture. For the front camera, it has 12-megapixel with AI Portrait mode, LED flash, f/2.0 aperture, 1.25μm pixel size and support for face unlock.
Moto P30 has various connectivity features like hybrid Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, 3.5mm Audio Jack and USB-C port. Dimensions are 155.8 × 75.95 × 7.69mm and weight is 170g.
As of now, there is no information about its availability in other countries including India in the future. Let’s hope that the company announces its global availability at the upcoming IFA 2018 event.
