Moto G7 Play spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 625 Processor and Android 9 Pie

While the Moto G7 and G7 Plus are expected to be expensive devices, the G7 Power and G7 Play are said to be affordable devices.

Motorola is working on its latest Moto G7 series which will include phones like Moto G7, Moto G7 Plus, Moto G7 Power and Moto G7 Play. Out of them, Moto G7 Play has now been spotted on GeekBench website revealing its key specs.

The company is planning to first launch the G7 series in Brazilian market way ahead of Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2019. While the Moto G7 and G7 Plus are expected to be expensive devices, the G7 Power and G7 Play are said to be affordable devices.

The GeekBench listing, Via NashVilleChatterClass shows that the phone has scored 1173 in single-core performance and 4090 in multi-core performance. As per the listing, the Moto G7 Play will be powered by Qualcomm’s MSM8953 known as the Snapdragon 625.

The listing shows that the phone will be having 2GB RAM. It is expected that the 2GB variant will come with 16GB storage and there will be another 3GB variant with 32GB storage. For the software, the phone will run 9.0 Pie out of the box.

The Moto G7 Play’s manual was seen on the FCC in November last year along with photos. Moto G7 Play will feature a notch at the top of the display featuring the front camera, flash and speaker which will also double as the phone’s earpiece. It will have a 3,000mAh battery and a fingerprint scanner
