Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus launched for Rs 13,999 and 15,999 respectively

Both the smartphones will be available via Amazon India from tonight at 11.59PM.

Lenovo’s owned Motorola has today launched Moto G5S and G5S Plus in India for Rs 13,999 and 15,999 respectively. The Moto G5S smartphone will be available on Amazon India for sale starting tonight at 11.59 PM and Moto Hub offline stores while Moto G5S Plus will be availble exclusively on Amazon from tonight itself. The Moto G5S Plus comes in Lunar Gray and Blush Gold colours while the Moto G5S comes in Lunar Gray andFine Gold colours

The launch offers include Rs 1,000 off on exchanging your old smartphone, discount of Rs 499 price for the Moto Sports headphones, no cost EMIs on all credit cards, up to 80 percent off (up to Rs 300) on the Amazon Kindle app, and up to 50GB additional data for Reliance Jio customers. Alongside, the company has also announced the Moto G5 Plus price cut in India. The smartphone initially launched at Rs 15,999 will now be available at Rs 14,999.

Moto G5S

The Moto G5S comes with a metal unibody made of high-grade aluminium and a 5.2-inch Full display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with 3 protection. The Moto G5S packs a 3000mAh battery, which is higher when compared to Moto G5’s 2800mAh battery. Further, the device comes loaded with a fingerprint sensor, which is placed at the bottom of the display.

On the hardware front, the device is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, however, the company has included a hybrid card slot for up to 128GB expandable storage. The device features a 16-megapixel rear camera along with f/2.0 and single LED flash, while on the front, there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie shooter along with an LED flash. The phone runs on 7.1 Nougat.

Moto G5S Plus

The major highlight of the Moto G5S Plus smartphone is the dual-camera setup at the rear panel. The device has two 13-megapixel placed horizontally and has aperture f/2.0. The dual rear cameras can be used to bokeh effect for portraits, selective black and white colouring and replace background mode. For the front, there is an 8-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera along with LED flash and a new panoramic mode.

The Moto G5S Plus packs a 5.5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. It is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor, which is also present in the Moto G5 Plus. It comes with 4GB RAM, 64GB of storage and 128GB expandable memory. The phone runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and comes loaded with some interesting features like Night Display and Quick Reply. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery along with Turbo charging technology.

On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual-SIM, 3.5mm and port.
