Lenovo’s sub-brand, Motorola is all set to launch its Moto G5 smartphone in India next weekafter recentlyteasing the said smartphone on its social media platform. The company has started sending out media invites for an event, which is scheduled to take place on April 4th, where Moto G5 smartphone will be released for the Indian market. Moreover, the Moto G5 smartphone will be Amazon exclusive, as e-commerce gaint has also started teasing the said smartphone on its website.
To recall, Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 were first introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 trade show. The company has already launched the Moto G5 Plus in India in two different variants- The 3GB RAM + 16GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999 while the 4GB RAM + 32GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999.
As far as specifications of Moto G5 is concerned, it features a 5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of a 1980 x 1080 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and an option of 16GB and 32GB internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the Moto G5 sports a 13-megapixel with Aperture f/2.0, 1.1-micron pixels and PDAF, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter. The device comes with removable 2800mAh battery coupled with 10W rapid charger and supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro USB port. The device measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5 mm and weighs 144.5 grams.
