Lenovo has finally launched its Moto G5 Plus smartphone today in an event in New Delhi. The 3GB RAM + 16GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999 while the 4GB RAM + 32GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart from midnight (from 11:59PM) with a bunch of exciting launch day offers. If bought tonight (at midnight), users will be able to avail additional Rs 1,500 off on exchange, extra 10% discount on SBI cards, free BuyBack Guarantee program which allows customer to sell their device back to Flipkart at an attractive price (worth Rs 1199) and the device can be purchased with no cost EMI. Apart from this, one can also get the Moto Pulse 2 headphones just for Rs 599 if bought with the Moto G5 Plus today.
For the specifications, the Moto G5 Plus comes with a 5.2-inch full HD display with a screen resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels with Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. The phone comes in two options—3GB/16GB variant along with 4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage model. There is also a microSD card slot through which one can expand storage up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the device sports 12-megapixel rear camera with Aperture f/1.7, 1.4-micron pixels, dual AF pixels and LED flash. For the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The phone is backed by 3000mAh battery and support connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC and Micro USB port. The phone measures 150.2 x 74 x 9.7 mm and weighs 155 grams.
To recall, the Lenovo launched Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5 during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 trade show. T. The smartphone will compete with the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4, Honor 6X and even Lenovo Vibe P2, as each of them have a decent performance at similar price point. Also, the company is expected to launch the younger sibling i.e. the Moto G5 soon in India.
