Lenovo’s sub-brand, Motorola has finally launched Moto G5 smartphone in India today. The smartphone is priced at Rs 11,999 and will be exclusively available on Amazon India starting midnight (11:59:59 PM) today. The The Moto G5 will have a pre-loaded AmazonDeals widget, PrimeVideo App and Kindle app.
Moreover, company has also announced various launch offers (applicable till 5th and 6th April), wherein interested customers can get Rs 1,000 cashback with HDFC bank credit cards, Extra Rs 500 off on exchange of old phone, Free Sandisk Ultra 16GB MicroSD crad and upto Rs 1,000 cashback for Amazon Prime members.
To recall, Moto G5 and Moto G5 Plus were first introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2017 trade show. The company has already launched the Moto G5 Plus in India in two different variants- The 3GB RAM + 16GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 14,999 while the 4GB RAM + 32GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 16,999.
As far as specifications of Moto G5 is concerned, it comes with a metal body which is removable in nature and boasts a splashproof design. The device features a 5-inch Full HD display with a screen resolution of a 1980 x 1080 pixels and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The phone is backed by a 3GB of RAM and an option of 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card slot. The Dual-SIM smartphone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. The smartphone also houses a fingerprint scanner, which is embedded on its hone button.
On the camera front, the Moto G5 sports a 13-megapixel with Aperture f/2.0, 1.1-micron pixels and PDAF, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter with Wide angle lens, f/2.2 aperture and display flash. The device comes with removable 2800mAh battery coupled with 10W rapid charger and supports connectivity options including Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro USB port. The device measures 144.3 x 73 x 9.5 mm and weighs 144.5 grams.
