Moto G4 Play, which was unveiled in May this year, will make its debut in the India market on September 6. Motorola has not announced its price yet but revealed that the phone will be exclusive to Amazon India. We were expecting this for quite some time as the phone was found listed on Indian export import website Zauba last month.
The Motorola Moto G4 Play has a water repellent nano-coating on its body and comes with a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) display. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core 64-bit Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor, which is clubbed with Adreno 306 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB internal memory, and an optional expandable memory slot of 128GB capacity. The smartphone runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system and comes packed with a 2800 mAh battery.
The Moto G4 Play has an 8-megapixel shooter and an LED flash light on its back while a 5-megapixel camera is in its front. The rear camera has Æ’/2.2 aperture, Tap (anywhere) to capture, 4X digital zoom, Burst mode, Auto HDR, Panorama, Drag to focus & exposure, and 1080p HD video (30 fps) recording features. Further, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G LTE, WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/A-GPS, Accelerometer, Proximity and Ambient Light sensors. The handset measures 144.4 x 72 x 8.95-9.9 mm and weighs around 137 grams.
