Moto G CDMA now available in India, courtesy RCom

Reliance Communications is offering the Moto G CDMA version with 8 GB internal storage with zero-rental plans and at Equated Monthly Installments starting Rs 1,205.

Reliance Communications is now offering the CDMA version of Motorola Moto G 8 GB model for Rs 13,490. The teleco is offering only the black variant of the handset. You can also opt for 6 months or 12 months scheme under which you have to pay Rs 2,334 and Rs 1,205 per month respectively.

If you opt for the EMI scheme (referred as Zero Rental Plan by Rcom), you will also get unlimited STD and local calls, 3000 SMS, data and free for select period. Note that Flipkart is offering the Moto G (Black, 8 GB) for Rs 12,499 and if you opt for its exchange offer, you can get the handset for as low as Rs 10,499.

Also though the phone is imported from international markets, you will get full warranty with it.

“This phone is imported from international markets. However, this device comes with a one year warranty. The warranty details will be sent to your registered mail id within 4days of the order confirmation,” said RCom on its website.

The CDMA network supporting Motorola Moto G features 4.5-inch IPS display with 720×1280 pixel resolution. This display is made using 3 technology for strength. Powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 mobile chipset, the Moto G offers 1 GB RAM and said 8 GB on-board storage. There is no memory card slot so the users have to make do with 8 GB on-board storage. By default, the smartphone runs 4.3 Jelly Bean but is upgradable to Android 4.4 KitKat.

At the back is a 5 megapixel camera with Flash and autofocus. The camera can record 720p video and click HDR images as well. In the front is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video calling. Other features include 4.0, USB Host, FM Radio, and GPS with as well as support.

Motorola Moto G 8 GB CDMA version will come without a card and packs 2070 battery.
