Lenovo-owned Motorola launched Moto E4 smartphone in India last year for Rs 8,999. Now seems like the company is working on its successor which is dubbed as Moto E5.
An image of the upcoming Moto E5 has surfaced online which has revealed the design details of the device, via MySmartPrice. The leaked image shows the device having a unibody design and a fingerprint sensor on the back of the device. The scanner is somewhat hidden below the Motorola logo. Apart from that, the back also features a single rear camera with flash. The image also shows the front camera with LED flash as well.
On the right side of the device, we can see the volume rocker as well as the power button. The image shows that headset using a Micro USB port on the bottom instead of any USB Type-C port in Moto E5. The image shows the device in Gold colour which hints that the Moto E5 could be launched in Gold colour.
Moto E5 is expected to feature 5 inches display with a traditional 16:9 aspect ratio and powered by MediaTek chipset. Connectivity features of Moto E5 will include GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a 3.5mm Headphone jack, as per the report.

The image shows the clock widget on the Moto E5 screen mentioning date April 3. So it is expected that the smartphone might be unveiled on April 3, 2018. If this comes true, then the launch of the Moto E5 could be earlier than that of the Moto E4 which was unveiled in June 2017. The phone is said to priced $120-$150 (approximately, Rs 7,500 and Rs 9,500). As per the report, the company might also unveil Moto E5 Play and the Moto E5 Plus alongside the Moto E5 this year.
