Lenovo-owned Motorola recently launched its latest budget offering, the Moto C Plus in India for Rs 6,999. The smartphone is available for purchase on Flipkart and the e-commerce giant is offering an exchange offer up to Rs 6,500, which brings down the price of the smartphone to just Rs 499.
But there is a catch! First of all, the exchange amount is different for different branded smartphones. So, for example, you can exchange your Intex Cloud Swift and get an exchange discount of Rs 1,250. However, if you want to get a better exchange discount, then you need to kiss your Apple iPhone SE or Google Nexus 6P goodbye.
With Apple iPhone SE you get an exchange discount of Rs 4,500 (that hurts, right?) and with Nexus 6P you get an exchange discount of Rs 6,200 (total payable amount Rs 799 + Rs 100 pickup charge). You must be thinking that this is some kind of a joke, but no it isn’t. If you don’t believe us, then you can go ahead and check for yourself at Flipkart’s website.
This clearly shows that Flipkart really needs to work on the Exchange Offer section. Meanwhile, recollecting some key specifications of the device, the Moto C Plus features a 5-inch HD display and is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor along with Mali-T720 GPU. The phone is backed by 2GB of RAM and has a 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot.
On the camera front, the device sports an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Aperture f/2.2 and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The phone runs on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat and comes loaded with an impressive 4000mAh battery. On the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and Micro USB port. It measures 144 x 72.3 x 10 mm and weighs 162 grams.
