Videocon Mobile Services has partnered with mobile media company BuzzCity to provide mobile content to its subscribers.
Under Videocon’s list of ‘Value Added Services’, subscribers can now make use of content from BuzzCity’s mobile media portals (Djuzz, Now-Cook and JAMsked) to download thousands of free mobile games and apps, browse hundreds of recipes for easy cooking or access music events throughout India.
Djuzz is an ad supported free mobile games portal, it has more than 4000 games in it right now.
Now-cook, on the other hand, is a mobile site promoting everyday eating, a collection of recipes for simple food that is also easy to cook. It is aimed at anyone who enjoys good food, and especially appeals to those who lack time to cook.
JAMSKED is a free mobile internet directory of live music events. It provides a listing of the latest concerts, tours and once -off performances by bands and musicians.
With this partnership, Videocon will also be able to create its own mobile gaming, recipe sharing or music events mobile site to promote its brand to a wider audience.
“At Videocon, we see ourselves as a key player in the evolving dynamics of the mobile internet media. As a part of our vision of transforming mobile VAS in India that goes beyond just ringtones and wallpapers, this new partnership with BuzzCity has been done to provide more quality avenues for the brand to engage with its consumers.” said Sunil Tandon chief marketing officer, Videocon Mobile Services.
