The upcoming tablet of Amazon will look a lot like the BlackBerry PlayBook as it has been made the same manufacturer and is based on the same design, Gdgt.com said.
Amazon is expected to announce the tablet – Kindle Fire, in a press conference on September 28. However, it will not be available in the market before November second week.
Amazon already sells applications through its AppStore. To sell the content, Amazon will be heavily depending on its own MP3 service and of course, the Kindle Bookstore. Most probably, the Kindle Fire would not have its own native email App and users will either have to download something from the Amazon AppStore or use the Browser to read their mails.
The Kindle Fire will also have most of the major magazine publishers on its platform including Hearst, Conde Nast and Meredith. The notable absentee in the crowd is Time Inc which is yet to ink a deal with Amazon.
