Novosol, a mobile value added services company, is set to launch its mobile cricket magazine MoCricket through two more telecom operators in India.
The company has so far not disclosed the names of the operators, but is likely to be made during the ongoing Champions league T20 cricket series.
Earlier, the magazine was available on Reliance Communications and Airtel during the ICC World Cup 2011 and it is now available during the on-going Champions League 20-20 cricket tournament.
MoCricket features live scores, unique avatar based videos, match galleries, real-time coverage, previews, match analysis, gossip and trivia in a photo story format.
The magazine has been covering all on-going cricket events including IPL, the India-England series and the upcoming T20 Champions League.
Novosol is also extending the service to new platforms on SMS, MMS, mobile videos/TV and IVVR (interactive voice and video response).
Minhaz Lokhandwala, marketing director, Novosol, said, “The response to the launch of MoCricket in India has been very encouraging. Reliance has set the trend and it is fast catching up with mobile subscribers and customers alike. This is just a start for us and we look forward to launching many more exciting new innovative services in the Indian market. We are already in talks with several other mobile operators for our various platforms and will be launching a series of exciting content and mobile services for the Indian customer.”
MoCricket is enabled with smart technology and is accessible on any WAP enabled mobile phone; users just need to go to mocricket.com through their phone’s browser.
