As reported earlier, Xiaomi is all set to launch Xioami Max on 10th May. Xiaomi will also be announcing the launch of MIUI 8, a Xiaomi’s own Android based ROM, along with Xiaomi Band 2. The company has confirmed this through the official web blog.
Xiaomi said in the blog post, “MIUI 8, a new big update of Mi phones’ operating system, will be launched on May 10. You’ll witness the launch of MIUI 8, Mi Max and Mi Band 2 on the event in May”.
The blog post is accompanied by a short video of MIUI 8 notification bar. The MIUI 8 is the latest operating system featuring new design with an all new experience. The MIUI 8 comes with a new notification bar. Some new features have been added in the new ROM. Xiaomi is yet to reveal what all features will be part of MIUI 8, but it has given a sneak peek into MIUI 8’s new notification bar through the video.
The Xiaomi Mi Max has been in the news for quite some time now. Recently, Xiaomi shared a teaser of the Xiaomi Max. It is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 1.8 GHz hexa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage, 16-megapixel Autofocus rear camera and a 5-megapixel camera is in its front The Xiaomi Mi Band 2 meanwhile is the successor to the Mi Band and was teased by the Xiaomi’s chief executive officer and founder Lei Jun himself.
