Microsoft’s Zune market place is now available in India, just months before the launch of Windows Phone 7 based smartphones in the country. With this, users can see and purchase software and applications, available for sell in the Zune market place, in Indian rupees.
However, there was no official announcement on the Zune market place from Microsoft till now.
A new feature has also been added to Zune which will allow it to work on similar lines as the iTunes for Apple iPhone and iPad. Zune allow users to sync music, update software, purchase and install applications to newer Windows Phone 7 devices and Windows based tablet Pcs.
Windows Phone 7 already has an applications library of almost 7,000 applications and recently Microsoft has also appointed 20,000 more developers to develop newer applications for the upcoming platform in India.
With the preparations going on in full swing and newer software launching, it is now being expected that Windows Mobile 7 OS will be launched in India sooner than later.
