Couple of days ago, Microsoft Xbox One X made an informal entry in India but now the PC maker has formally announced the date of release of its latest console in India.
As per reports, Microsoft is sending invites to media organisations for an event on January 23 where it is expected to announce the launch of One X in India. The high end console was first introduced back in November.
The One X is the smallest and most powerful console of Microsoft till date.
The Xbox One X is powered by eight-core custom AMD CPU clocked at 2.3GHz coupled with 12GB of GDDR5 graphic memory for smoother gameplay. It has 6 Teraflop GPU, which offers smoother animations in 4K.
The console comes with a 1TB HDD internal storage and it uses a liquid-cooled vapor-chamber cooling inside, a technology that is used on high-end gaming PCs.
Other than this, you will find a 4K UHD Blu-ray optical disc drive, HDMI 2.0b, HDR10 support, Dolby Atmos, Bluetooth, WiFi with Direct, IR blaster, three USB 3.0 ports, Ethernet port and so on.
The console has got good reviews till now and it can older Xbox 360 games in compatibility mode too.
The Xbox One X is expected to be sold for about Rs 44,990 or about $700 which is almost $200 more than its price in the USA. The price may put off many gaming enthuiast.
But if you cannot spend that amount of money on a new console, you can go for not so old versions of Xbox – the One S and One. Both the consoles are pretty good hardware and are play all the latest games.
