Microsoft has announced the launch of a testing tool for the mobile version of Internet Explorer 9, which is set to come later this year with the much anticipated Mango update of Windows Phone 7.
With the mobile test drive, developers and web administrators can check the compatibility of their websites with the new HTML5 standard that is followed strictly by IE9.
The mobile test drive engine also allows developers to check the difference in performance between a single core Processor and a dual core processor based smartphone, thereby helping them make maximum use of computing power while browsing the web.
