Microsoft Lumia 950 to cost Rs 38,000 in India, 950 XL coming for Rs 43,000: Report

Internationally, the Lumia 950 has a price tag of $549 (Rs 35,857 approximately) while the Lumia 950 XL is priced at $649 (Rs 42,389 approximately).

Microsoft will launch Lumia 950 at Rs 38,000 and the Lumia 950 XL at Rs 43,000, according to a report of IBN Live which has credited the information to its sources.

Microsoft unveiled the phones earlier this month and is expected to launch them globally next month. Internationally, the Lumia 950 has a price tag of $549 (Rs 35,857 approximately) while the Lumia 950 XL is priced at $649 (Rs 42,389 approximately).

The Microsoft Lumia 950 comes with a 5.2 inch display with Quad (2560×1440 pixels) resolution and 3. It is powered by the 1.8 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor and offers a 20 megapixel rear camera that can record videos in resolution. There are three LED flash lights in the back panel to help the rear camera that has ZEISS optics. The Lumia 950 has a 3000 battery and comes with Type C port for faster charging.

Besides, the Lumia 950 has 3 RAM, 200 GB micro SD card slot, 32 GB internal memory, 5 megapixel front camera, dual WiFi (ac), Bluetooth 4.1, GPS with and and Beidou, and FM radio.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 XL has a bigger 5.7 inch but with the same Quad HD resolution as well as the same 20 megapixel rear camera with triple LED flash light and ZEISS optics. However, it has a better 2.0 GHz Snapdragon 810 octa core processor as well as a bigger 3340 mAh battery with USB Type C charging port. As per Microsoft, the phone can be charged to 50 per cent in just 30 minutes.

It too has 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal memory, 200 GB expandable storage slot, 5 megapixel front camera, dual band WiFi (ac), Bluetooth 4.1, FM radio, NFC and GPS with GLONASS, A-GPS and Beidou.

Both the phones come in dual version as well.
