Microsoft is all set to announce the launch two new flagship smartphones tomorrow. The PC giant is hosting an event in New York today where it is expected to launch its Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL flagship smartphones codenamed as Cityman and Talkman respectively. The PC giant is also expected to announce the launch of Surface 4 Pro tablet and Microsoft Band 2.
Meanwhile, images of the Lumia 950 and 950 XL have been leaked earlier today along with press renders of the Lumia 550 by @Windows10Lover which were first spotted by Windows Central. As per the images, the Lumia 950 has a front camera along with an LED flash. Both the phones also coming in dual SIM variants, the images have confirmed.
Reportedly, the phones will have triple-LED flash modules at their back panels. They are also said to offer PureView Zeiss sensor.
As per earlier rumours, the Lumia 950 or Talkman would come with a 5.2-inch display with Resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (Quad HD). The larger 950 XL aka Cityman is expected to come with a 5.7-inch display with the same resolution. Lumia 950 is said to come with the hexa-core Snapdragon 808 Processor and a 3,000 mAh battery. While on the other hand Lumia 950 XL may have an octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor with a 3,300 mAh battery.
Both are rumored to come with 3GB RAM, 32GB of internal storage which can be expanded via microSD card slot, 20-megapixel PureView rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, wireless charging support, and USB Type-C connectors.
