Microsoft introduces Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, Xbox One S Minecraft Limited Edition and more at Gamescom 2017

Microsoft has announced a new limited edition, a fan-inspired design of its latest gaming console, the Xbox One X at Gamescom 2017. Dubbed as Xbox One X Project Scorpio Edition, the console is available for pre-order for $499 (approx. Rs 32,000) and it will be available starting November 07, 2017.

The special edition comes with a custom colour, vertical stand, and “Project Scorpio” printed on both the console and controller. The company has revealed the list of compatible games for the Xbox One X console, which include over 100 new and existing Xbox One titles. The list includes games like Halo 5, NBA 2K18, Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, ReCore: Definitive Edition, FIFA 18, Star Wars Battlefront II, Below and remastered versions of Disneyland Adventures, Rush: A Disney-Pixar Adventure and Zoo Tycoon.

Microsoft has also introduced new Xbox One S Minecraft Limited Edition Bundle during the event as well. The gaming console is available only in limited quantities and it is available for pre-order. Further, it will be launching in all Xbox One markets, except China and Brazil, on October 3, 2017. The limited edition gaming console comes loaded with a designed grass block, Xbox Wireless Controller – Minecraft Creeper, Minecraft system sounds, vertical stand and transparent underside with Redstone circuit accents. This exclusive bundle also includes a full game download of Minecraft plus the Redstone Pack, a collection of unique skin packs.

Moving on, the company has also introduced two new wireless controllers known as Xbox Minecraft Creeper and Pig wireless controllers. The former comes with iconic Creeper design, while the latter comes with a pink design. Further, both of the controllers features textured grip and ABXY buttons with the classic Minecraft font. Both of these controllers are available for pre-order now and will be launching in the U.S. at Microsoft Stores and Target on September 5, 2017, and available more broadly beginning September 12, 2017.

Microsoft has also announced an Xbox One S Shadow of War Bundles. Each bundle comes with an Xbox One S with either a 500GB or 1TB hard drive, Middle-earth: Shadow of War, an Xbox Wireless Controller, 1-month Xbox Game Pass subscription and 14-day Xbox Live Gold trial.
