Micromax has silently launched its first hexa core processor based smartphone, called Canvas HD Plus A190. The Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190 is available for Rs 13,500 online.
As per the listing on Infibeam, the Canvas HD Plus has a 5 inch capacitive touchscreen with Gorilla Glass covering and high definition Resolution (1280×720 pixels). Thankfully, Micromax has launched it with the latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat version and not the older Android Jelly Bean operating system.
Ofcourse the highlight of the phone is its hexa core processor – the 1.5 GHz Mediatek hexa core processor. There is decent 1 GB RAM in the Micromax Canvas HD Plus which has 8 GB internal storage and an expandable storage slot for a micro SD card of up to 32 GB. Of the 8 GB ROM, 4.76 GB is available for mass storage while 1.08 GB is available for apps.
The Micromax Canvas HD Plus A190 has an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 2 megapixel fixed focus front camera. The phone has a 2000 mAh battery which claims to offer about 7 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby. This dual SIM smartphone has 3G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0, and a Micro USB port as well.
Currently there are only two other handsets in the market that come with the same 1.5 GHz Mediatek hexa core processor, namely – Xolo Play 6X and Karbonn Titanium Hexa. You can compare these three phones here.
