Micromax will launch a smartphone priced under Rs 7,000 today, according to a report of Times of India.
Quoting its sources, the report claimed that the smartphone will have the Android Lollipop operating system and a quad core processor. It further added that the phone will have a bigger screen than 4.7 inch and that the phone will be 4G capable.
No other information about the phone is available right now.
Earlier this week, Micromax’s Canvas Amaze was made available at Rs 7,999 (it was available online for Rs 7,476). It has a 5 inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It has a 1.3 GHz quad core processor and huge 2 GB RAM. The Amaze also offers 13 megapixel auto focus rear camera and a 5 megapixel fixed focus front camera. This 3G smartphone has 8 GB of Internal Memory and 32 GB micro SD card slot.
The Amaze has WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB, A-GPS and a 2000mAh battery. It has the Android Lollipop operating system.
