Micromax is reportedly planning to launch a new Canvas series smartphone on Monday, i.e. May 16. As per the report, the upcoming smartphone will priced under Rs 9,000.
As per report, the upcoming new Canvas series smartphone will have a 5.5-inch display. It would be powered by an octa-core processor, which will be paired with 3GB of RAM. Besides, it will offer 4G LTE support and will come with all basic connectivity options. 
Right now only this much of update is available. However we will keep you posted as soon as we get more insight on this upcoming smartphone.
Earlier this week, Micromax had launched Canvas XP 4G smartphone in India for Rs 7,499. It has a 5-inch HD (1280×720p) display and is powered by a 1GHz quad core processor, which is clubbed with 3GB of RAM, and 16GB of internal storage. The smartphone runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system. It sports an 8-megapixel shooter with LED flash light and a 2-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Canvas XP 4G gets the strength from 2000 mAh battery and supports 10 Regional Languages.
