Home grown mobile phone maker, Micromax has announced another phone with its famous AISHA voice assistant application. This Android smartphone, named Superfone A52, has powerful specification and is priced at just Rs 6,000, which is surely would give many top brands a tough competition.
The Micromax Superfone A52 is based on Android 2.3 Gingerbread and comes with a humongous 1 Ghz processor, which is quite a rarity in the sub-Rs 10,000 Android segment. It has though 256 MB RAM and hence is not suitable for Android ICS which requires a minimum of 512 MB RAM.
This 3.2 inch TFT touchscreen based smartphone comes with dual SIM slot and has a 2 Megapixel rear camera. Besides, this 3G phone has 32 GB expandable memory, 1280 mAh battery and WiFi connectivity.
It will be available in Yellow, White and Black colours. Currently, The Mobile Store is offering this phone for Rs 5,699.
A Micromax spokesperson, however, told The Mobile Indian that the Superfone A52 will initially hit the retail market of Delhi followed by other markets throughout the country.
