Micromax Evok Dual Note launched with dual camera setup and Android Nougat

The Evok Dual Note will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting 21 August midnight.

Micromax has today launched the Micromax Evok Dual Note smartphone in India starting Rs 9,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available on Flipkart starting 21 August midnight. The Micromax Evok Dual Note comes in two variants – 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage. Only 3GB variant pricing has been announced while 4GB variant pricing is yet to be announced.The smartphone comes in two colour variants – Gold and Prussian Blue (only 4GB).

Micromax Evok Dual Note boasts a metal design and comes loaded with 5.5-inch Full display. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek MT6750 processor along with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 64GB via card slot.

On the camera front, the device features a dual rear camera setup of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel with Sony IMX258 sensors, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling. The camera mode gives you a real-time Re-Focus option – an effect which will allow you to select the focus area after shooting, allowing you to click pictures that seem to be taken in the macro mode of an SLR camera. It comes equipped with the different colour filters such as monochrome, strong, blackboard, whiteboard and pictures can be taken in 3D mode and panorama as well.

The smartphone runs 7.0 Nougat and is juiced up by a 3000mAh battery. The battery claims to offer a standby time of 260 hours, a talk time of 11 hours and music playback of up to 24 hours. On the connectivity front, the device support, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 4.0, (hybrid) and Type C. The Evok Dual Note also features fingerprint sensor at the front, which also acts as a home button.
