Micromax Dual 5 boasting a dual rear camera setup to launch on March 29

The smartphone is expected to come with a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors on the rear panel.

As reported earlier, Micromax is all set to launch its first dual rear camera smartphone on March 29 and now company has sent out official media invites for the curtain-raiser event to be held in New Delhi to announce its upcoming flagship device. The invite not only has the venue details, but also revealed that the upcoming device will be called as Micromax Dual 5.

As of now, Micromax has not revealed any details of it upcoming Micromax Dual 5 smartphone, except it will have a dual rear camera setup. However, last month a Micromax smartphone boasting dual rear camera module with a model number ‘Micromax E4815’ was spotted online, revealing its alleged specifications, alongside a couple of images. So this might be the same phone company is teasing about.

As far as alleged specifications are concerned, Micromax E4815 (will be launched with a new name) will have the dual-camera module at the rear panel, which will come with a combination of 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel sensors. On the front, the smartphone will have a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video chats. There is also a flashlight on the rear which sits between the two cameras. The smartphone will have a metal unibody design and will feature a 5.5 inch IPS display.

Further, the Micromax E4815 will be fueled by a 1.5 GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6750T) processor. The device will come with 3GB of and 32 of internal storage, with an option to expand the storage further via microSD card. There will also be a fingerprint scanner which will be embedded in its home button. Besides, the smartphone will also support with VoLTE.
