Micromax has silently launched a 4G tablet, which is named as Canvas Tab P701. The Canvas Tab P701 is available for purchase exclusively through Flipkart for Rs 7,250. The tablet comes in Blue colour.
The Micromax Canvas Tab P701 feature a 7-inch WSVGA (1024×600) display. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core Mediatek (MT8735V/WM) processor, which is paired with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of Internal storage, and an expandable storage that can hold a micro SD card of up-to 32GB capacity. The tablet runs on Android Lollipop 5.1 operating system and is backed up by a decent 3500 mAh Lithium-Polymer non-removable battery, which claims to deliver talktime of up-to15 hours in handset mode, 4 hours in hand free mode, and up-to 48 hours of standby time.
The Canvas Tab P701 sports a 5-megapixel auto-focus rear camera, and a 2-megapixel fixed focus front camera. The tablet has no LED flash light in its rear or front panel. Besides, the tablet offers Dual SIM (Micro), 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS, a MicroUSB 2.0 port, OTG support, FM, Gravity sensor, Proximity sensor, and Light sensor.
Just to recall, Micromax launched its first 4G tablet in March this year, which is called Canvas Tab P702, for Rs 7,999. The Canvas Tab P702 is has a 7-inch HD IPS display, DTS sound dual box speakers, and a 3000 mAh battery. It is powered by MediaTek’s MT8735 processor which incorporates LTE cat.4, quad core operating at 1.3Ghz and 3D graphics. To assist the processor, there is 2GB RAM.
This tablet has two SIM card slot and it supports both TDD & FDD networks. It has internal storage of 16GB to which you can 32 GB more memory through a micro SD card. The tablet also offers two cameras – a 2 megapixel in the front and a 5 megapixel rear auto focus camera with LED flash. Besides, it offers WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, voice calling support and Dual Box Speakers with DTS sound.
