Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone launched for Rs 8,299

The new Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone comes with a Clip on 0.4X Wide Angle Lens that claims to capture wide angle images and videos.

Micromax today announced the launch of Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone. The device is a second smartphone by the company targeting the selfie aficionados after Canvas Selfie, which is currently retailing around Rs 13,000.

Available in White + Champagne and Moondust Gray colour, the device is priced affordably at Rs 8,299 and can be purchased through online and offline stores. To top it all, the Vodafone users will get 500MB data free for 2 months.

The new Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens smartphone comes with a Clip on 0.4X Wide Angle Lens that claims to capture wide angle images and videos. The users can just clip on the lens on the front and rear camera and click a range of Wide Field selfies and videos.

Besides, the device also comes with a Face beauty mode and editing tools. While the pre-settings allow the user to capture pretty selfies on the aspects of skin smoothening, sharpening and eye enlargement before clicking a selfie, the post-settings help remove under eye bags, blemishes, make skin soft, brighter and eyes bigger, brighter. The strength of the pre-settings can be set at 3 levels or customized as required.

The Micromax Canvas Selfie Lens is equipped with a 5 inch IPS display with 3. It has an 8 megapixel auto focus rear camera with Largan lens, Sony Sensors and flash while the front 5MP fixed focus front camera has Largan lens and OV sensors. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core and 1GB DDR3 RAM.

Running on the latest Lollipop 5.0 the smartphone gives users a 2800 mAh battery which claims to offer delivers talk time of 9 hours and a standby time of 374 hours. The smartphone comes with an of 8GB and an expandable memory of upto 32GB.
