Believe it or not, Micromax’s Canvas A116, which is available for just Rs 13,990, is better than Samsung’s Galaxy Note, which costs around Rs 27,000.
This is the benchmark result of AnTuTu on which the Micromax handset scored 12630 while Samsung Galaxy Note has 10290 points.
The AnTuTu benchmark tests a handset on different parameters like CPU and memory speed, 2D graphics, 3D graphics, SD card, and database access speed. The Galaxy Note scored high over Canvas A116 only in 2D and 3D graphics rendering due to its high resolution.
Apart from these two, the Canvas A116 outperforms the Galaxy Note in every other arena like CPU integer, RAM performance, SD card read/write speed etc (see picture).
