Micromax has quietly introduced the new Canvas Duet II dual-SIM smartphone that accommodates one GSM SIM and one CDMA SIM. The Micromax Canvas Duet II is introduced for Rs 15,790 which indeed is an interesting price. The Canvas Duet II features a 5.3-inch HD display and is powered by a quad-core 1.2 GHz mobile processor. The smartphone is expected to be available across the retail stores by this weekend.
Micromax Canvas Duet II is the successor model of the Canvas Duet smartphone. Flaunting a 5.3-inch IPS LCD display, the Canvas Duet II supports 1280×720 pixel resolution. Micromax has powered this smartphone with a quad-core 1.2 GHz mobile processor and 1 GB RAM. It has 4 GB on-board storage and a memory card slot that allows adding up to 32 GB micro SD card. The smartphone runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update.
The Canvas Duet II has an 8 megapixel Autofocus camera and an LED Flash at the back. In the front, it sports a 2 megapixel wide angle camera for video calls. The Canvas Duet II offers Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS support. Packing a 2300 mAh battery, the Canvas Duet II will be an interesting competitor for the HTC Desire 501 Dual-SIM, Xolo X1000 and Karbonn Titanium X.
