Micromax Canvas Amaze 4G with Android 5.1 spotted

Micromax Canvas Amaze 4G features a 5 inch HD (1280 × 720) IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

A new Micromax Canvas series smartphone has been listed on Micromax’s website. The new phone is named as Canvas Amaze 4G Q491 and is the 4G version of the Micromax Canvas Amaze which was launched last year in November. The smartphone is expected to go sale soon.

Micromax Canvas Amaze 4G features a 5 inch (1280 × 720) IPS display with 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 (MSM8916) processor coupled with 1GB RAM. The dual SIM based phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system.

Micromax Canvas Amaze 4G comes with an 8 megapixel autofocus rear camera with flash. For selfies, it offers a 2 megapixel front camera. It comes with 8 GB in-built storage which can be expanded to 32 GB through a micro SD card. It has a 2230 removable battery which claims to offer talk-time of 7 hours and of 160 hours.

Besides 4G connectivity, the phone offers WiFi (802.11 b/g/n), A-GPS, micro USB, and Bluetooth 4.0. It is preloaded with Amazon Kindle, Amazon Shop, Scandid, Snapdeal apps. It has proximity, G-Sensor, light, gyroscope and magnetic sensor.

We expect it to be priced less than Rs 10,000 as it has low-end specifications.

Micromax recently launched Micromax Canvas Juice 4G for about Rs 8,000. The Micromax Canvas Juice 4G is armed with a 5 inch IPS display with 720 x 1280 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.0 GHz quad core processor and 2 GB DDR3 RAM. The Canvas Juice 4G offers 16 GB of internal storage and has a 32 GB micor SD card slot as well. The Android 5.1 Lollipop operating system based Micromax Canvas Juice 4G has an 8 megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 5 megapixel front camera. This dual SIM smartphone offer 4G connectivity, WiFi, Bluetooth, and micro USB.
