Micromax Canvas 2 Colours, which was unveiled just few days back, is now available for Rs 9,920 from Snapdeal.
The Micromax Canvas 2 Colours comes with a 5 inch IPS display with HD resolution. It has a 1.3 GHz Mediatek quad core processor, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean operating system, 1 GB RAM, 4 GB ROM, and 32 GB expandable storage slot.
The Canvas 2 Colours comes with an 8 megapixel rear auto focus camera, an LED flash, and a 2 megapixel front camera. For connectivity, this 3G handset has WiFi, Bluetooth, and USB 2.0. It has GPS for navigation as well. It has a 2000 mAh battery.
Is it a good buy?
In comparison with its predecessor, the Canvas 2 Plus which is currently retailing for about Rs 10,900, the Canvas 2 Colours is definitely a better choice as it offers a slightly bumped up Processor and a better display resolution (the older phone has 480×854 pixels resolution).
Apart from the Spice Pinnacle FHD Mi-525, which can be purchased for Rs 9,999, most other Android handsets under Rs 10,000 have the same set of features as the Canvas 2 Colours. The Spice Pinnacle FHD is though a better handset as it comes with a full HD resolution based 5 inch display. It has also much better 8 GB internal storage and a bigger 2100 mAh battery.
