Micromax will launch its first 4G VoLTE feature phone, “Bharat One”, in the first week of October at Rs 2,000 as per a report of The Economic Times. The Bharat One is the new addition to the Micromax’s Bharat series after Bharat 2, Bharat 3 and Bharat 4. Micromax Bharat 3 and Bharat 4 smartphones were recently launched in India at Rs 4,499 and Rs 4,999 respectively.
For the feature phone, Micromax has teamed up with BSNL to launch its entry-level 4G feature phone for attractive offers like free voice and bundled data offers. Currently, BSNL only has 3G service, but Micromax promises 4G upgrades over existing feature phones.The launch is timed according to the festival season to take the best advantage. Meanwhile, Reliance has alsobegun the delivery of its JioPhone this Sunday and claims to deliver 6 Million JioPhone in 15 days.
As of now, specifications of the Bharat One phone are not known, but Micromax claims that Bharat One will offer a larger screen size, more battery life and a sharper phone camera as compared toexisting feature phone. At present featurephones normally offers2-inch of screensizes and 2,000mAh battery capacity. On the camera front, the best rear camera in a feature phone is of 2-megapixel and a VGA camera at front.
Furthermore, the report says that there is a huge market of 500 million feature phone users who would want to have more than one option. And the company believes that the device can give competition to Reliance’s Jio Phone.
Recently, Intex Technologies has also launched its Turbo+ 4G feature phone at Rs 1,999. The Turbo+ 4G comes with a 2.4-inch QVGA display, has a 4G-VoLTE support, 2000mAh battery, dual-core processor, 512MB RAM along with 4GB of internal storage and loaded with 2MP rear camera and VGA Selfie Camera.

Coming back to the Bharat 3 and Bharat4. Both the smartphones runon Android Nougat and are powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor. Both the devices feature smart key, which basically allows users to take screenshots, click pictures etc and both of them support 22 Indian languages.
The Bharat 4 and Bharat 3 are equipped with a 5-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera with LED flash with Aperture f/2.4 and autofocus. The Bharat 3, on the other hand, features a 2000mAh battery, which the brand claims to provide 6-7 hours of talk time. On the connectivity front, both of them supports 4G VoLTE, OTG support, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB port.
