Recently there were several reports that Micromax Informatics will be launching its new affordable Bharat series phones in India soon and Bharat 1 will be the Micromax’s first Ever VoLTE supported feature phone, will be priced at Rs 1,999. Meanwhile, Micromax Bharat 2 Q402, an affordable Android-powered smartphone has been found listed on one of the Indian online retailer, which is priced at Rs 2,999. As of now, the smartphone is listed with ‘Coming Soon’ tag.
As per listing, the Bharat 2 has a polycarbonate body and feature a 4-inch display with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution. This VoLTE supported smartphone is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC9832) processor, along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
On the camera front, the Bharat 2 offers 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA resolution) front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed up by a 1300mAh Li-Ion removable battery. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi-802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, a microUSB port and Accelerometer. The handset measures 120 x 63.6 x 10.05 mm.
