After being available for offline purchase, the Micromax Bharat 2 is now officially listed on the company’s website. The listing reveals almost all the features and specifications of the upcoming device, however, there is no information about the pricing and availability of the device.
To recall, the smartphone was earlier reported to be available at Rs 3,499 against the market price of Rs 3,750, from a Mumbai-based retailer, Mahesh Telecom. With this smartphone, Micromax is clearly eyeing the ultra-budget segment which consists of smartphones that boast some most basics specs sheet. The device is touted to come with VoLTE support, which is a welcome move, and might helpful for the first-time users.
The website listing reveals almost similar specifications, we have seen in past leaks. Starting with the display, the Bharat 2 sports a 4-inch display with WVGA (800 x 480 pixels) resolution and a polycarbonate body. The smartphone is powered by the 1.3GHz quad-core Spreadtrum (SC9832) processor, along with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system.
On the camera front, the Bharat 2 offers 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA resolution) front-facing camera. The smartphone is backed up by a 1300mAh Li-Ion removable battery. Besides, the smartphone offers Dual SIM, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wifi-802.11 b/g/n, Wi-Fi hotspot, GPS, a microUSB port and Accelerometer. The handset measures 120 x 63.6 x 10.05 mm.
